Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger (海賊戦隊ゴーカイジャー Kaizoku Sentai Gōkaijā) is a 35th Super Sentai that airs on February 13 2011 to February 19 2012 at Japan (total 51 episodes). And someone might ask, what is Super Sentai? Check here for more, and I'll say that it started by the deceased Shotaro Ishinomori's idea to create 5 Kamen Riders at the same time (it's a fact and truth, really!).
Story
It all started when Zangyack invade Earth and battles every Super Sentai. But when things gets tough, Akaranger suggest that they will use all of their powers in cost of their Ranger Form to the Zangyack air forces, and few years have passed since then...
A group of young pirates come from space to Earth to obtain the "Greatest Treasure in the Universe" (宇宙最大のお宝 Uchū Saidai no Otakara), which according to Kai Ozu (the previous MagiRed who debuts in Mahou Sentai Magiranger), that can only be acquired after obtaining the "Greater Powers" of the different 34 Super Sentai Teams. However, they end up facing the Space Empire Zangyack, currently established under Commander Warz Gill, the emperor's son. As a result, due to their history with the empire, the space pirates use the powers of the older teams and attempt to master their powers to fight the Zangyack forces as the Gokaigers. But it took a long while before they can realize themselves as the 35th Super Sentai...

A young captain of the Gokai Galleon who is a former member the Red Pirates (赤き海賊団 Akaki Kaizokudan) even though Basco ta Jolokia betrayed the team, he still promised to AkaRed continue. Captain Marvelous is an unpredictable sort of character who does reckless things to satisfy his curiosity, stating his actions as what any pirate would do in that particular moment, earning the ire of his crew, especially Don, at times. But his sense of responsibility as a leader is still very well intact, as shown when if his crew is ever in mortal danger, he would use his authority as captain and sacrifice himself, much like Aka Red did for him, to ensure their safety. He's much stronger than he looks as he's usually seen exercising himself by wearing a heavy bracelet while playing darts. He also has a rather hearty appetite.
Joe Gibken transforms individually in Episode 11 (left), GokaiBlue prepares to transforms to DekaMaster while Dairando is distracted by Gigant Horse attacks their allies (actually is GokaiRed pilloting the airship) instead in Episode 51 (right)

The loyal first mate of Captain Marvelous who once a member of the Zangyack's Imperial Special Forces, before being the first recruit into Captain Marvelous' crew. A man of few words, his cool and serious demeanor offsets his swordsmanship skills, making him the best fighter in the team. Under his stoic and uncaring facade lies a compassionate and kind nature. His catchphrase is, "I'll borrow this (借りるぞ Kariru zo)" whenever he grabs a bladed weapon from an enemy or another Super Sentai warrior during battle.
His individual Final Wave when in Episode 4 is Five-Blade Style Blue Slash (五刀流ブルースラッシュ Gotōryū Burū Surasshu) With five Gokai Sabers and five blue Ranger Keys.

Actor: Mao Ichimichi, Yuichi Hachitsuka (suit actor), Sanae Hitomi (suit actor of Kamen Rider x Super Sentai: Super Hero Taisen)
A tomboy who serves as the crew's lookout. Originally a poor, homeless girl, Luka looked after the other orphans with her friend Cain when their planet was under attack by the Zangyack. After losing her younger sister Lia to an illness, Luka left their planet to obtain funds by stealing something from Zangyack warehouses, causing Marvelous and Joe (who passes around) making Luka join, which she refuses at first.
Since joining the Gokai Galleon's crew, Luka has acquired a collection of expensive jewelry which the others will sometimes use to exchange for local currency, much to her dismay. Also, having frequently trained her eyes since childhood by spotting 10 shooting stars before she goes to sleep, Luka has developed acute reflexes in combat, which she uses to make up for her lack of strength due to being a girl. Her training also enabled her to spot any nearby treasure. Because of the way she lost Lia, Luka sees Ahim as a surrogate little sister, constantly concerned over her safety, a far different personality than her normal tough and cheeky personality she has when around the others.
Don Dogoier unconscious in Episode 31 (left), and GokaiGreen prepares to transform into Bioman (right)
Don Dogoier (ドン・ドッゴイヤー Don Doggoiyā) / Gokai Green (ゴーカイグリーン Gōkai Gurīn)
Actor: Kazuki Shimizu, Yasuhiro Takeuchi (suit actor)
The cheerful and honest ship mechanic, cook and caretaker, his seemingly spineless attitude is actually hiding his true courage which he shows when his friends are in danger. Has a good skills in gadgetry, cleaning, and cooking impressed Marvelous immensely, leading Don being shanghaied into the crew and nicknamed "Doc" (ハカセ Hakase). His battle style is relies heavily on stealth and trickery using the environment around him to improvise attacks. His clumsiness in battle would often end up looking like he is doing comedic slapstick.
Ahim de Famille (アイム・ド・ファミーユ Aimu do Famīyu) / Gokai Pink (ゴーカイピンク Gōkai Pinku)
Actor: Yui Koike, Mizuho Nogawa (suit actor)
A gentle and well-mannered lady who was the princess of the planet Famille before Zatsurig of the Zangyack destroyed her home world and killed her parents. Unlike the rest of her crewmates, she was practically useless when she first started out as a pirate due to having no unique utilitarian abilities, but as the time goes, she is now a competent pirate and fully capable of holding her own in a fight, evident when she fends off an armed kidnapper easily and with grace, and tries to solve conflicts peacefully. She is the most fascinated with many aspects of common Earth culture as, being raised in royalty, she has very little understanding of life outside of her high society lifestyle. First she starts out as having a hairband as the hair accessory but changes permanently into the hair tie although in the henshin she lets the same hairstyle with no hairbands.
Gai Ikari in the middle of his first question before realizing that Marvelous, Joe and Luka are missing in Episode 25 (left), GokaiSilver in his roll call in Episode 17 (right).
Gai Ikari (伊狩 鎧 Ikari Gai) / Gokai Silver (ゴーカイシルバー Gōkai Shirubā)
Actor: Junya Ikeda, Daisuke Sato (suit actor)
The only Earthling of the group and a hot-blooded and cheerful Super Sentai fan. He was originally denied by Captain Marvelous to be a part of the crew as he didn't think Gai brought something unique to his crew nor did he feel that Gai knew what it meant to be an enemy of the Zangyack empire. His enthusiasm and bravery allowed Gai to join the Gokaigers with the vow to use his powers to destroy the Zangyack Empire for good. By just imagining, he has a strange power can make a hybrids without even himself realizes, those giving a birth of the Gold Anchor Key, granting access to the armored Gold Mode (ゴールドモード Gōrudo Mōdo).
Zangyack
Zangyack's forces are a race of aliens who have conquered and destroyed untold numbers of planets across the galaxy and plan to invade Earth for their emperor Akudos Gill. The first invasion failed due to the interference of 34 Super Sentai teams in the Legend War (レジェンド大戦 Rejendo Taisen). The second, current, invasion is being overseen by the emperor's son Warz Gill from his chariot-like flagship Gigant Horse (ギガントホース Giganto Hōsu), stationed between Earth and its moon, with an armada at his command.
The currency of the Zangyack Empire, and all planets that fall under its control, is the Zagin (ザギン Z=). The exchange rate from the Zagin to the yen is Z=1 to ¥360.

The young commander of
the Zangyack invasion forces who is Emperor Akudos Gill's son, thus attempting
to earn his father's respect while showing himself as one of elite status and
not the idiotic brat that he and the royal court see him to be. This intent to
prove himself gave Warz a paranoid attitude, making him frequently hysterical
when his missions are failures and reacting to them by covering his tracks and
lashing out at the Gormin. Warz also expresses anger towards Damarasu, knowing
he was deployed by his father to make sure he succeeds. Warz Gill is also known
to be petty, knowing if a stack of cash is lacking any notes just by weighing
with his hands, so precise to the point where he would know even if just one
note is lacking.

Zangyack Empire and the father of Warz Gill who always carries

general, strategist and warrior. He is ordered to accompany Warz Gill by Akudos
Gill and assist him as his second in command, questioning his decisions if he
feels that he needs to. Unlike the others, Damarasu expresses curiosity on why

him when his mission was complete to which she bluntly refused.

very little other than saying, "Yes, boss," (イエス、ボス Iesu, Bosu) to Warz Gill's orders,
